Fear is why I'd rather use the word 'expand' than 'big.' Don't ask me why, but expand works better for me... the principle is the same and you're so right it doesn't have to be done all at once.

Thanks Winnie!
I know you're in a position to do all of what you want to do. What kind of support will you need to live your fearlessness?

Cheers,

Sophfronia, I'm with YOU!! How the HECK did I get like this? I was ALWAYS the brave one and somehow I lost that. Well I had made the same decision you did I just didn't think of a clever name for it. I'm determined to say what I think, promote myself in the way that I feel is best (not the way that "they" say SHOULD be done), and I'm going to embrace my strengths and only do work that uses them. I've promised myself to stop hiding my light under the proverbial bushel. Not only will I be writing more but I'm going to speak more and I'm going to learn to use video (yikes!).

I'm excited and committed to making this year MY year (but I'll share it with you!).
XO

Hi Diana,

I have a question for you: I know you said you write in more than one genre, but who is your reader? Is it the same across genres, or different in each one?

Cheers,

What a fabulous list! I am an author of more than six books and although writing is my number one passion, I do confess, I take pleasure also in the marketing aspect. These days marketing has become even more challenging.

My main problem is although my platform is journaling, I write in more than one genre, which makes marketing even more challenging. For my last book of poetry I hired an independent publicist who does alot of online marketing. I am not convinced that it helped book sales.

I still need some more innovative marketing ideas and would love to hear some.

Cheers,
Diana

Sophfronia, great post. I always say to those contemplating on writing a ebook, there are people that don't know what you know, so your knowledge on a topic will be helpful to them and if it solves their problem, they have no problem paying whatever price for it.

I have several ebooks I created that goes for about $27 each and they have been selling good for me with alot of good feedback. You have to stop asking "What If"
and take action, position yourself as the expert and share your expertise, someone
will always benefit from your information :)

I am still not sure how to start writing,,I know things I want to say but can't figure out how to put it in the right order, It is so overwhelming that I am starting to think twice about even starting. I am not good at putting things into words and do have spelling problems with some words..I only know common terms to write and do not know how to use some of the bigger words that a lot of writers use..hard decision when it all seems so confusing
