Update and Book Proposal Question

Check this out: don’t Darryl and I look pretty laid back for having 14 children, most of them under the age of 5, running around our house?! This was the scene over the weekend when we threw a party for Tain’s 4th birthday. Despite having not one, but both of our screen doors knocked out over the course of the afternoon, the house survived pretty much intact!

You’ll see some of our guests here seated and singing a song with our dear friend, the very talented Francine Wheeler. By the way, the day after the party Francine hopped a plane to join her band, the Dream Jam Band, on tour. They’re a great children’s music group, you may have heard them on XM or Sirius Radio. They’re playing in Chicago this weekend. See the tour schedule at www.dreamjamband.com. You can also catch them on PBS Sprout this fall. How cool is that? You come to our house, you get good music no matter how young you are. That’s a guarantee!
Book Proposal Question…
Are you thinking of writing a book proposal to pitch your next big idea to a publishing house, but don’t know how to begin? I’ve been getting a lot of questions about book proposals lately and I’m working on one right now for a prominent client. So I’m wondering–would you be interested if I offered a quick, 6-week program that would help you get your proposal ready to submit by the fall? Just email me at editor@doneforyouwriting.com and let me know. I’ll only put it together if there’s enough interest.
Best wishes for your publishing success!
